Why Kevin Rudd Deserves to be the Prime Minister of Australia?

I'm sharing an e-mail I got from a friend. I don't know who the author was but he deserves recognition for this effort. I guess this email  has been circulating around the web for a long time but it doesn't matter, be it new or old, given that it addresses important issues for most people like us who have chosen to live abroad. Should I be able to vote in the coming election, this email would somehow influence my decision. Find out why. Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd does it again! This man should be appointed King of the World. Truer words have never been spoken. It took a lot of courage for this man to speak what he had to say for the world to hear. The retribution could be phenomenal, but at least he was willing to take a stand on his and Australia's beliefs. The whole world Needs A Leader Like This! Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to h...

Watch Video: Sydney's $5 million Aussie Dollars New year's Eve Fireworks Display

Watch Sydney's $5 million Aussie Dollars New year's Eve fireworks display! Sydney's local news reported that a record crowd of up to 1.5 million Australians and tourists watched a massive New Year's Eve fireworks display alongside the famous Sydney's Opera House. I didn't personally went to the fireworks display but we enjoyed watching this spectacular show on TV at our friends' house in the quiet town of Bendigo, Melbourne. Yes, we are on holiday leaving the noisy and busy street of Sydney! Anyway, Sydney was the second major world city to hold a massive New Year fireworks display next to Auckland, New Zealand was beaten to midnight by two hours by New Zealand, which staged a dramatic fireworks display from Auckland's Sky Tower. video source: Youtube by user itnnews photo: source

Most Photographed "Public Loo" in New Zealand, and Possibly in the World

Travel with me to the Hundertwasser Toilets, located in Kawakawa, New Zealand. Kawakawa is a small sleepy town in Northland. It's about an hour drive from Whangarei, the capital of Northland. What is interesting about Kawakawa? Well, it is famous for it's own public toilets  to be known as  the  Most Photographed "Public Loo" in New Zealand, and possibly in the World! Hundertwasser Toilets Kawakawa, Northland, New Zealand A photoshot fronting the Hundertwasser Toilets Toilets were designed by internationally renown artist and architect Frederick Hundertwasser Truly a work of art!  From the grass roof, to gold balls, ceramic tiles, bottle glass windows, mosaic tiling, cobblestone flooring are just among the materials used in this toilet A look Inside. A Taste of Hell

Have you tasted Hell? Look no more, go to New Zealand! I love New Zealand. The Land of the Long White Clouds. Greener than where I am now here in Sydney, Australia. Famous for its white sand and clean beaches, millions of sheep, outdoor adventures, rugby (I'm a fan of the All Blacks), fishing spots, and home of Sir Edmund Hillary, first man to conquer Mt Everest. New Zealand was my home for the past six years and I can say, it's a country of friendly Kiwis - both the bird (kiwi) and the people. New Zealand has a very Godly National Anthem. The first stanza goes like this: God of nations! at Thy feet In the bonds of love we meet, Hear our voices, we entreat, God defend our Free Land. Guard Pacific's triple star, From the shafts of strife and war, Make her praises heard afar, God defend New Zealand I went to New Zealand last month and as I was driving in town, I found this bizarre looking shop. A black painted building with a sign o...
