Billy Graham's The Truth About Hapiness

If you ask me about people who have influenced my life, I can tell you straight away that Billy Graham is one of them. I have a high admiration about Billy Graham's humility, boldness, and uncompromising preachings. I can spend hours watching him preach or read his books. He is such an inspiration.  Today, I am featuring a synopsis of his preaching about happiness. I watched this video several times and on the process, I scribbled his message. Read on.

I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist By Norman L. Geisler / Crossway Books & Bibles Norman Geisler and Frank Turek show, first of all, that truth is absolute, exclusive, and knowable. From there, they proceed to demonstrate that the cardinal Christian doctrines are true beyond reasonable doubt, all convincing for you as a Christians to believe, but requiring a leap of negative "faith" if an atheist is to disbelieve them.

10 Who can find a virtuous wife?       For her worth is far above rubies.        11 The heart of her husband safely trusts her;       So he will have no lack of gain.        12 She does him good and not evil       All the days of her life.        13 She seeks wool and flax,       And willingly works with her hands.        14 She is like the merchant ships,       She brings her food from afar.

Songs of Solomon: A Book of Love, Romance, and Relationship

The world celebrates Valentines Day today! When I think of a better place to obtain poems, phrases, or quotes that expresses love relationship between a husband and wife, the lyrics of  The Song of Solomon in the Bible is one of best places to read. The Songs of Solomon highlights the virtues of love between a husband and his wife and  is a concrete demonstration of  marriage in accordance with God’s design. A man and woman are to spend life together within the biblical meaning of marriage, that is loving each other physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Love is not Forced. It comes Naturally. Do not stir up nor awaken love until it pleases. (Songs of Solomon 2:7)

Personally, I believe God is immeasurable, infinite, all powerful, indescribable.... For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes - Deuteronomy 10:17 NIV For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. -Deuteronomy 4:24 NIV God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? - Numbers 23:19 NIV For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory - Deuteronomy 20:4 NIV For the LORD your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your forefathers, which he confirmed to them by oath - Deuteronomy 4:31 NIV And the heavens pro

The God I Don't Understand: Reflections on Tough Questions of Faith

If we are honest, we have to admit that there are many things we don't understand about God. We do not have final answers to the deep problems of life, and those who say they do are probably living in some degree of delusion. There are areas of mystery in our Christian faith that lie beyond the keenest scholarship or even the most profound spiritual exercises. For many people, these problems raise so many questions and uncertainties that faith itself becomes a struggle, and the very person and character of God are called into question. Chris Wright encourages us to face up to the limitations of our understanding and to acknowledge the pain and grief they can often cause. But at the same time, he wants us to be able to say, like the psalmist in Psalm 73: 'But that's all right. God is ultimately in charge and I can trust him to put things right. Meanwhile, I will stay near to my God, make him my refuge, and go on telling of his deeds." Amazon.com on The God

Christian Jokes: Which Way to Heaven?

This is a short true to life joke that happened in Billy Graham's ministry. Prepare to laugh. Read on: Reverend Billy Graham tells of a time early in his ministry when he arrived in a small town to preach a sermon. Wanting to mail a letter, he asked a young boy where the post office was. When the boy had told him, Dr. Graham thanked him and said, "If you'll come to the Baptist Church this evening, you can hear me telling everyone how to get to heaven." The boy replied, "I don't think I'll be there... You don't even know your way to the post office."

Father Can You Hear Me

Father can you hear me We need your love today I know that you are listening you hear men everyday Father please hear us and we will be OK father we need you to heal families today Father can you hear me I'm calling on your name Not Buddha nor Muhammad but it's Jesus we cry out loud Father just forgive us Hear us when we say We'll give ya, give ya, give you everything our lives and souls today Father you know we need it I've never seen so much pain We have the faith for now Your victory we will gain father you know we mean it there's no more heart of stone were ready for your power now the sin is gone (Excerpted from Tiffany Evans - Father Can You Hear Me Lyrics) Think how much the Father loves us. He loves us so much that he lets us be called his children, as we truly are. But since the people of this world did not know who Christ is, they don't know who we are. Christian Jokes: Pick Three Hymns

One Sunday a pastor told his congregation that the church needed some extra money and asked the people to prayerfully consider giving a little extra in the offering plate. He said that whoever gave the most would be able to pick out three hymns.   After the offering plates were passed, the pastor glanced down and noticed that someone had placed a $1,000 bill in offering. He was so excited that he immediately shared his joy with his congregation and said he'd like to personally thank the person who placed the money in the plate.
