For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “ The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”   What could possibly be more comforting than God's promise here to never leave or abandon us? I got this breaking news from Philippine Star website, one of the leading newspapers in the Philippines.   6.2-magnitude earthquake hits west of Manila ( philstar.com ) Updated March 25, 2010 02:34 PM MANILA, Philippines ( AP ) – A 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck west of Manila on Thursday, the seismology institute reported, causing buildings in the Philippine capital to shake and sending frightened workers out of their offices. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties, and no tsunami alert was issued. Buildings in Manila shook for about 30 seconds.  "Essentially, this would not trigger significant damage," said seismology institute Director Renato Solidum.

This young and talented breed of christian artists are from my former Church, Life ,  in Auckland, New Zealand. They are the "next gen" of the original Parachute Band that birthed in 1996. One of their major events is the Annual Parachute Festival  usually held in Mystery Creek, Hamilton, New Zealand where they perform in the Mainstage leading thousands of crowd of mostly young generation  into the presence of God with their locally written worship music. This worship song "Glorified" is simply one of their outstanding compositions. I really love this song because of  its great message of giving glory to Jesus Christ who done everything for us to have peace with our Almighty Father in heaven. Granting that Manny Villar will win the election, how will he be able to recover his expenses that has amounted to P1.3 billion as of March 2, 2010  as per AGB Nielsen record? I don't want to speculate too much but certainly, something has to be done to recover that which was lost. As a voter and a patriotic Filipino, my focus  is to look  into  anti-graft and corruption campaign of all the presidentiables. Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!( Matthew 21:9) It is used in the same way in Christian praise. Overall, it seems that "Hosanna" is a cry for salvation; while at the same time is a declaration of praise. Therefore, it may be derived that this plea for help is out of an agreeably positive connotation. How will you describe God's love? What's God's love all about? Are we deserving of God's love? God is love . His love is with no strings attached. An unconditional love. He takes you and me just as we are. He offers not only forgiveness of our past mistakes but more importantly He gives us a hope,  a future, and life eternal.
