Chris Tomlin put to life another old hymn in this song! If you are familiar with the old hymn, you will know what I'm talking about. But the message is still the same. It is all about the message of the cross. The life, death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 5:8 says "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God!(Romans 5:1-2)
