We have to admit it. All of us have issues, strongholds, or addictions in life. It can be smoking, drunkenness, theft, pornography, sexual infidelity, or any other stuffs that we can generally call it as a "sin".
We ought to deal with these issues in our lives. We can get practical advice from our friends, colleagues, medical practitioners, self-help coaches, but we must not forget about the biblical principles that have stood the test of time as the most effective way of dealing with these issues of life.
In this video, Dr Charles Stanley of In Touch Ministries answers one of the viewer's question: "Smoking has a stronghold on me. When I get upset or nervous, that is when I tend to smoke. When I quit for a few days, I find myself overeating. Please help--I want to get rid of smoking before it gets rid of me!"
