They started in 1999 by youth pastor Mark Hall at First Baptist Church in Downtown Daytona Beach, Florida. Mark Hall is the lead vocalist of Casting Crowns. This song, Who Am I ,  really tells a story about you and me relating to our relationship with  God,  our Father Almighty. The lyrics are penned in a layman's perspective and was recorded beautifully to emphasize nuggets of important biblical teachings and values.
