Lewis is also the author of the famous film "The Chronicles of Narnia." In Mere Christianity,  C. S. Lewis rejects the boundaries that divide Christianity's many denominations. While religious belief is not a concern for some, to many more it is an extremely serious decision, requiring deep thought and the entire energy of the mind. 

This song It Is Well With My Soul has struck my attention today. It was sang beautifully at church with the clips showing the devastation of the recent flooding in Queensland, Australia.  This is a song of hope. It gives us the message that amidst trouble, sorrow, or pain, we have our Heavenly Father who is for us.That out of these circumstances, God's goodness still revealed and we can still see hope, peace, and love. Our lives here on Earth is temporal so let us invest more into something that has eternal value.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 1 Corinthians 5:17   Casting Crowns is one of my favorite Christian Band.  This band is a Grammy Award and Dove Award winning Contemporary Christian/Christian Rock band. They started in 1999 by youth pastor Mark Hall at First Baptist Church in Downtown Daytona Beach, Florida. Mark Hall is the lead vocalist of Casting Crowns. This song, Who Am I ,  really tells a story about you and me relating to our relationship with  God,  our Father Almighty. The lyrics are penned in a layman's perspective and was recorded beautifully to emphasize nuggets of important biblical teachings and values.
