I'm featuring a well written devotional by Bob Gass. It's a very timely message and conveys a short but clear message. Jesus is The Way. When I was still tied up with religion, John 14:6 seems to be unrecognizable and doesn't do much impact on me. Not until I discover the message of the cross and what Christianity has to offer that this verse deeply impacted me and turn my life around. You see, man-made religion put people to captivity of various rules, traditions, and rituals to follow. These religions impressed upon people about a God that is far and beyond reach. Religion keeps looking and searching for God! It's entirely the reverse of Christianity where God is looking for His lost sons and daughters. Christianity  is about personal relationship to an all knowing, all powerful, and everliving, and loving God. Christianity kindles the passion to discover our Creator and a life that is focussed to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Every word of the Bible comes alive

What a way to celebrate Christmas riding on a Christmas Bus! Yes, they are rolling here in Sydney, Australia. There are four of them operated by the Hills Bus. We chance upon the The Party Christmas Bus last Sunday afternoon. The other three buses are themed The Australian Christmas Bus, The Winter Wonderland Bus, and the Santa's Cave Bus. These buses are definitely much better than the atheist buses to be launched in New Zealand! Not a joke. T'was such a fantastic ride. My four-year-old son was so amazed and can't control his mouth to say a big "wow!" Definitely, it did put smiles on our faces. We are quite pleased to see smiling faces of people hopping in on various bus stops. What an atmosphere of smiling people!  I say the Christmas Bus is one of the cleanest public buses we've boarded here in Sydney. It's top of the class and it's fully airconditioned. Truly, Jesus is The Way. His death on the cross, the shedding of His blood, His sacrifice, made way for us to approach God with boldness. Jesus is our High Priest and we can enter God's "Most Holy Place." What a privilege! We can draw near to God with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed - Jesus Christ I am browsing the headlines today and found this very interesting news at CNN World News. Another great piece of discovery. Slowly but surely, historical evidences are  being unearthed proving to us the reality that Jesus Christ had in fact walked into this Earth thousand of years ago. This news article reminds me of the story of Doubting Thomas in John 20:24-29. (CBS/AP) Oral Roberts, a pioneer in televangelism who founded a multimillion-dollar ministry and a university that bears his name, died Tuesday. He was 91. Roberts died of complications from pneumonia in Newport Beach, California, according to his spokesman, A. Larry Ross. The evangelist was hospitalized after a fall on Saturday. He had survived two heart attacks in the 1990s and a broken hip in 2006. Roberts was a pioneer who broadcast his spirit-filled revivals on television, a new frontier for religion when he started in the 1950s. He was also a forerunner of the controversial "prosperity gospel" that has come to dominate televangelism. The evangelist's "Seed-Faith" theology held that those who give to God will get things in return. A lawmaker has moved to criminalize same sex union, imposing stiffer penalties on violators. Rep. Bienvenido Abante Jr. (6th District, Manila), author of House Bill 6919, branded as "highly immoral, scandalous and detestable act" the union of the same sex. Abante said if such a union "becomes a reality in this part of the globe, that would snap the remaining strand of our moral values". Abante, chair of House committee on public information, said there is no specific provision in the Revised Penal Code penalizing a person for marrying another of the same gender, neither is there a provision penalizing a person for solemnizing the marriage of persons of the same gender. "While there is no documented same-sex marriage yet in our country, the absence of clear legislation serves as an invitation to same-sex marriage," Abante said. I started using the gift God gave me -  Stan Walker I am not really a big fan of Australian Idol but that changed when I saw the journey of this young man named Stan Walker.
